Photographer. Artist. Storyteller. Creative.
A lifelong photography enthusiast, Kim’s style has evolved over many years of learning and dedication to her craft. A self-described “people person”, which is evident in her thoughtful portraits of families, individuals and couples. Sessions are filled with lots of conversation, laughter and patience. Kim is also confident and comfortable taking on the toughest emotional situations with genuine interest and empathy.
With a great sense of humour, she takes pride in really getting to know you. By uncovering your personality, dreams, and even your struggles, she carefully crafts images that tell your unique story.
Her artistic portraits show her strong desire to create deeply emotional images carved by her own background and experiences. Commissions and collaborations are available and welcomed.
She also creates a variety of nature and landscape-inspired fine art prints, which are available for sale.
Kim lives in rural Nova Scotia, just outside Halifax, and shares her home with a delightful German Shepherd/Collie mix named Lenny and a long-haired cat named Fritz, both of whom she adopted as rescues. She is also a proud mom to an adult daughter and son, and grammie to an adorable grandson.
